The Lavvo

If you want an experience with simpler accommodation than a treetop cabin, we offer a rustically furnished lavvo with accommodation for up to 8 people on benches and cots. Fire pit and wood stove. The Lavvo is also suitable if you book several Tretop huts and need a larger gathering place for up to 16 people. The Lavvo is located approx. 150m from The Spruce Hut, 450m from The Birch Hut and approx. 1.5 km from The Sky Hut. approx. 2.5 km from The View Nest. There are parking spaces right next to The Lavvo.

Information about The Lavvo

The Lavvo a wood-burning stove and a fire pit with grill grates for cooking and making coffee, as well as a small kitchen counter. Benches and stools with sheepskin covers. The outdoor toilet is in the forest behind The Lavvo. Toilet paper, paper towels, coffee pot, kettles, frying pan, candles, tea lights, disposable cups and plates, cutlery and various kitchen utensils, firewood and firelighters are included in the price.

You must bring your own sleeping bag, headlamp, and water. If you would like to order Food us, we recommend elk mince.

A nature trail for children starts behind The Lavvo. Off-road bikes can also be rented from us. price 179 per day, including helmet. There are 15 miles of forest roads with minimal traffic in the common forest.

price The Lavvo day is NOK 1799. Rental of camp beds with mattresses costs NOK 99 per bed.

Check-in and check-out

The Lavvo is available from 16:30 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure. It is often possible to arrive earlier and depart later, but this must be agreed.

    We have created a short nature trail that starts behind The Lavvo on Danseråsen. It is suitable for families with children and can be used in spring, summer, and fall.

  • Canoeing

    There are small bodies of water, dammed or natural, at all of the Treetop Cabins, except at Furu and The Climbing Hut.

  • Off-road bikes

    The tree houses are built in communal forests with an extensive network of forest roads with little traffic – ideal for cycling trips.

  • Snowshoes

    We have four pairs of snowshoes available for free use by our Tretopphyttegjester guests, except at The Climbing Hut. The snowshoes are hung on the cabin wall, railing, or in the outdoor shed.

  • Kick supports

    At Tretopphyttene, apart from The Climbing Hut, there are old-fashioned winter conditions with excellent skiing conditions for much of the winter.

  • Ski trails

    The tree houses are located in areas with an early and stable ski season, except for The Climbing Hut is located by Lake Mjøsa.

  • Climbing park

    Tretopphyttene collaborates with Helgøya . Norway's most beautiful and the largest inland! It consists of 9 trails, 13 ziplines - a total of 142 climbing elements.

  • Wilderness lavvo

    Along the forest road at the top of Danseråsen , we Danseråsen set up a lavvo with sleeping accommodation for up to eight people on beds and camp beds.

You will receive a discount of NOK 500 when booking two nights. A discount of NOK 1,500 when booking three nights. A discount of NOK 2,500 when booking four nights.
