The Pine Hut
High above the ground, where the wind sings
The Pine Hut is our most primitive treehouse —for those who want to get up close to nature and experience cabin life as it once was. There is no electricity, running water, shower, or outhouse here. Candles and tea lights provide light in the cabin; dishes are washed in a basin; and both the stove and the refrigerator with freezer run on gas.
In return, you get something truly special: silence, closeness to nature, and a genuine sense of being far away from everyday life.
The cabin has a small kitchen counter with everything you need to cook Food. The wood shed and outhouse are located right below the cabin, so everything you need for a simple and comfortable stay is right nearby.
Life on the Veranda
The veranda is shaded by thick pine branches and features benches where you can curl up on sheepskin rugs. Light the fire pit, feel the warmth of the fire, and enjoy the view of the open landscape. You can sit here for hours—perhaps with a cup of coffee in the morning or under a clear starry sky in the evening.
From March to May, you can experience a truly special natural phenomenon right outside the cabin. During this time, the black grouse display on the marsh can be intense, with up to 15 black grouse cocks gathering to court and fight. Autumn and winter mornings can also offer sightings of black grouse on the marsh.
Sleep close to nature
The loft sleeps four people, with 120 cm wide mattresses on either side of the stairs. Here you’ll sleep high up and airy, with a view of the open landscape and the bird feeders.
On the main floor, there are two sofa benches on either side of the table. These can also be converted into sleeping areas.
The Pine Hut is best suited for a couple or two people who want plenty of space and a peaceful experience in nature. The cabin sleeps up to six people, but it will feel more intimate and cramped.
The Pine Hut is for those who don’t need modern amenities to enjoy themselves—and who are happy to trade electricity, showers, and running water for a fire pit, candlelight, silence, and nature right at their doorstep.

Location
The Pine Hut is located deep in the wilderness, between Blæka and Dempeni. In the winter, you can drive all the way there. The rest of the year, you'll need to follow a trail from the parking lot for about 80 meters.
