Recommended bathing places
There are small lakes, natural or dammed, at all Tree Top Cabins except The Pine Hut The Climbing Hut. These small lakes are best suited for canoeing.
Klatrehytta's guests have a short drive to Skurven beach on Helgøya and Tingnesstranda on Nes.
The other treetop cabins in Danseråsen can head to Næra where they will find Steinshølet.
The bathing area at Mjøstårnet - Mjøsparken - is highly recommended. There is a large, beautiful beach, playground, swimming bingo for the disabled, volleyball court, skating rink, beach promenade, dining area, etc.
Should the weather be bad for swimming, you can go to Mjøsbadet in Wood Hotel. A little further away is Ankerskogen, with a waterpark for the little ones and a spa area for the older ones.
From The Pine Hut it's a short drive to Ljøsvatnet lake with swimming opportunities.
