Rental terms

By booking a stay in Tretopphyttene, you agree to our rental conditions

AGE LIMIT: Anyone booking a tree top cabin must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for the cabin and surrounding area during their stay.

INFORMATION LETTER: When you book a cabin, you'll receive a confirmation and an info letter by email within a few minutes. Here you get all the information you need. 10 days before arrival you will receive a reminder.

DIRECTIONS: In the info letter you will find directions to the cabin. We recommend that you follow these, and not GPS. The reason for this is that you may be taken onto roads in the community that are not accessible by normal car. In winter, several of the roads are unplowed.

CHECK-OUT AND CHECK-IN TIMES: Our tree top cabins have different check-in and check-out times, and you can find an overview of this in the info letter you have received, as well as on our website.

TRANSFER OF BOOKING/CANCELLATION

• Cancellations must be made in writing by email to [email protected]
• If a booking is canceled more than 30 days prior to arrival, the amount paid will be refunded minus a fee of NOK 390.
• Cancellation/relocation of booking between 30-14 days prior to arrival, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded
• Cancellation/relocation of booking closer than 15 days prior to arrival there is no refund 
• Bookings paid with a gift card, and where the gift card is still valid, the amount will be returned to the gift card
• We recommend that you use your travel insurance if you need to cancel

CANCELLATION OF DOG SLED RIDING AND Sleigh ride
To receive a full refund, the activity must be canceled at least 48 hours before the agreed meeting time.

UNFORESEEN EVENTS
If Tretopphyttene has to cancel your stay, you can choose between a new stay or a full refund.

CLEANING ON DEPARTURE
If you do not book cleaning, you must leave the cabin in the condition it was on arrival. Cleaning is priced at NOK 499, - Everyone must do their own dishes! If cleaning is not booked, it is important that you clean with soapy water and cloth. Everything needed for cleaning is in the cabin. If we have to clean the cabin after you without it being booked, or do the dishes after you, we will charge up to double the price. Cleaning is booked online when you book, or it can be reordered via Your page up to 2 days before arrival.

BED LINEN
Bed linen incl. towel can be rented for NOK 149,- per person, or bring your own. Ordered when booking, or reordered online via Your page up to 2 days before arrival. Bed linen is placed in a laundry bag in the cabin. You must make up and remove the bedding yourself before departure.

ADDITIONAL ORDERS
You can log in to your page to order additional items such as Food, cleaning, bedding and bicycles up to 2 days before arrival. Use your email address as your username. Press Forgot password and you will receive your password by email. Log in to your account. Open your reservation and reorder what you want.
