The Larch Hut

The Larch Hut It’s peacefully situated in the woods, with theParking right below the cabin. A sturdy staircase winds its way up through the trees and leads you to the cabin, where the woods and nature surround you on all sides.
The Larch Hut is the only one of our Tretop huts that has a separate bedroom on the main floor. Here you’ll find a double bed measuring 120 x 200 cm, with room for two people. In the main room, the corner sofa can easily be converted into an extra sleeping space for two.
In the loft, there are two 120 x 200 cm mattresses on either side of the staircase. In total, there is sleeping space for up to eight people, though it will naturally be quite cozy. For a couple, a small family, or a group that wants to stay together, The Larch Hut is a pleasant base for nature experiences year-round.

Water, canoeing, and trout fishing
Right outside the cabin is a small forest lake that offers great opportunities for both play and relaxation. Canoes with paddles and life jackets are available for free use, and on nice days you can go for a paddle on the lake or try your luck at catching trout.
Here, the children can play by the water while the adults enjoy the peace and quiet and the surroundings of the cabin. The small lake is a natural part of the experience—whether you want to get out on the water or just sit on shore and look out over it.

Moose, skiing, and forests right outside; Water, canoeing, and trout fishing
Rightoutsidethe cabin lies a small forest lake that offers great opportunities for both play and relaxation. The Larch Hut is located in one of the common land’s areas with the highest concentration of moose. You might spot a moose among the trees—an experience that makes staying in the middle of the forest even more exciting.
In winter, the ski trail is just a short distance away. The trail runs only about 50 meters from the cabin, so you can practically put on your skis right outside the door and glide straight out onto the trail.
The trail at The Larch Hut isn’t groomed as often as the trails at Danseråsen, where The Birch Hut, The Spruce Hut , and The Lavvo are located. In return, you’ll enjoy a quieter skiing experience closer to the forest.
Here you’ll stay high up among the trees, with the forest as your closest neighbor —and with great opportunities to see moose, go on ski tours, and enjoy the tranquility right outside your cabin door.
