The Birch Hut

The Birch Hut is perched high among the trees, with a small pond right below the cabin and nature all around. Here, you can open the large sliding doors and step right out onto the veranda that wraps around the entire cabin. With sunshine from morning to evening, this is a cabin where it’s easy to find a cozy spot and simply enjoy the day.
Right below the cabin lies a small pond with three little islands. A canoe and four life jackets are available for your free use, and the pond invites you to take short paddling trips, play, and enjoy peaceful moments by the water’s edge. You might even spot birds or other animals as you paddle around.

A Place to Be Outdoors
The veranda surrounding the cabin quickly becomes a natural gathering spot. Light a fire and enjoy the warmth of the campfire, birdsong, and curious squirrels that love to stop by. In the spring, you might also be lucky enough to witness black grouse leks in the area.
When evening falls, simply step inside, open the sliding doors, and continue enjoying nature. Or lie down on the loft and look up through the skylights. Here, you can lie in one of the two 150-cm-wide beds and gaze at the starry sky right above you.
On the main floor, the cabin features a cozy sleeping alcove that sleeps two, and the sofa bench can also be used as a sleeping area for two. In total, there is sleeping space for up to eight people, but then it naturally gets very cozy. The Birch Hut is therefore well-suited for both a family or a couple, as well as for friends or families who want to stay together in a larger group.

Perfect for larger groups
If you’re traveling in a larger group, it’s possible to rent The Birch Hut and The Spruce Hut at the same time. Just a few minutes’ walk away is The Lavvo, which can be rented as a communal gathering space. This allows you to stay in separate accommodations while still having a dedicated place where the whole group can gather around Food, enjoy a campfire, and have good conversations.

Ski right outside the door
In the winter, The Birch Hut becomes a great base for ski trips. Well-groomed ski trails are just about 100 meters from the cabin, so here you can put on your skis and quickly head out into the trail network.
