These are the guide lines by witch all our guests act and oblige


Endring/avbestilling av booking

1. Endringer/avbestilling av booking mer enn 21 dager før ankomst har en kostnad på kr 399,-

2. Ved endring/avbestilling som gjøres mellom 21-7 dager før ankomst får du med deg 50% av verdien.

3. Gjøres endringen/avbestillingen under 7 dager før ankomst så får du ikke refundert noe.

4. Avbestillinger gjøres på mail til frode@tretopphytter.no Skal pengene tilbakebetales så må du sende oss ditt kontonr.

5. Vi refunderer dessverre ikke penger på gavekort. Beløpet blir derfor tilbakeført til gavekortet.

Om du må avbestille pga. sykdom, anbefaler vi å sjekke om din reiseforsikring dekker dette. Med ett års erfaring med Corona ser vi at ikke alle forsikringsselskap dekker tap som en følge av dette. Anbefaler alle å sjekke at din forsikring dekker Coronarelatert avbestilling.

Ved sterk vind/storm kan vi måtte kansellere oppholdet. Vi har retningslinjer som vi følger i forhold til hvor mye vind som er forsvarlig å overnatte i. Dette inntreffer veldig sjelden. Ved kansellering fra vår side på grunn av ekstreme værmeldinger, vil gjestene kunne velge mellom å få et nytt opphold i hytta ved en senere anledning eller hele beløpet tilbakebetalt.

When you accept the booking conditions in our online booking calendar, you agree to the following terms:

  • Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a cottage, only book.
  • The person booking the accommodation must be over 20 years of age and is responsible for the cottage and the surrounding area during the stay.

Keys and directions

After booking you will receive an attachment by e-mail with information, direction and info about where you can find the keys.

Accommodation in the cabin and cleaning

The tenant is obligated to read and follow rules and regulations for use of the cabin and the surrounding area. This can be found inside the cabin. Guest must leave the cabin and the surrounding area in the same condition it was on arrival.

You will find washing equipment in the cabin. It is possible to order cleaning of the cabin for extra NOK 399,-. This can be ordered when you book the cabin, or you can send us an e-mail. This must be sent no later than two weeks before your stay. In the booking system you can choose cleaning of the cabin if you wish.

This is included in the rental fees:

  • Power and gas consumption
  • Duvets and pillows
  • Tea lights and pillar candles
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and cloths
  • Firewood and equipment for fire place
  • Canoe, life jackets, paddles at all cabins except the Pine Hut and The Climbers Hut
  • Kicksleds. Usually 4 sleds
  • Snowshoes. Usually 4pcs
  • Birdseeds
  • All disposable kitchen equipment

You must pay extra for:

  • If you do not clean the cabin properly yourself, we have to opportunity to add an additional fee NOK 399,- for extra cleaning
  • Bed linen and towels NOK 99,- per person
  • Food and delivery
  • Sky lanterns (during autumn and winter)
  • Dog sledding
  • Horse sleighing
  • Renting the Lavvo

Please state when you book whether you want cleaning or bed linen. Some of these additional services, such as food or sky lanters, must be order manually by email to us. Frode@treetophut.no

Cancellation

  • Cancellation can be made by sending us an email to frode@treetophut.no or contact us by phone 0047 909 33 356 / 0047 410 27 820.
  • If you cancel or rebook to another date/cabin more than 21 days before arrival, all payment will then be refunded, except administration fee of NOK 399,-
  • When changing the booking between 21 and 7 days before arrival 50% of the payment is refundable, ex administration fee of NOK 399,-
  • Changes later than 7 days before arrival is non-refundable. It is important that we are notifed as soon the cancellation is determined.

If you cancel due to illness, we recommend to check if your travel insurance covers this.

In case of unusually high wind / storm, we may have to cancel your stay. We have guidelines that we follow in relation to how much wind is safe to stay in. In these cases, we will contact the tenant and arrange how we do this. This occurs very rarely. If we make cancellation due to extreme weather forecasts, guests will be able to choose between having a new stay in the cottage at a later date or the entire amount refunded.

Booking by email

When you are booking online through our calendar, your order will be processed immediately and the cabin is yours. If you prefer to book by mail and receive an invoice afterwards, this is also possible. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that we will process your booking by email before someone else has booked the date online. In these cases, those who book online will receive their accommodation. We try to check our mail at least once a day. We therefore recommend everyone to book through our online booking calendar, located underneath the sites of each cabin.

For all manual bookings there is an administration fee of NOK. 399,-
