The treetop cabins cost from NOK 1699 per cabin per day. The price includes firewood/birdseed/candles/matches/toilet and paper towels/disposable cups/plates, salt, pepper, and cooking oil. When you double-click on a date in the booking calendar, the price for the desired day will appear. The cheapest is Furuhytta, the most expensive are Klatrehytta, Bjørkhytta, Himmelhytta, and Utsiktsredet.

None of the cabins will seem too large for you. The cabins have a base area of between 12-17 square meters, but the sizes of the verandas vary. Many couples choose Furuhytta, which is the smallest of the treetop cabins.

You pay online when you do the booking

You always have to hut to yourselves.

The treetop cabins have different check-in and check-out times. The Viewnest: check-in at 1 PM and check-out at 11 AM. The Pine hut: check-in at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM. The Larch hut and the Sky hut: check-in at 3 PM and check-out at 1 PM. the Spruce hut and the Birch hut: check-in at 4 PM and check-out at 2 PM. The Climbing hut: check-in at 5 PM and check-out at 3 PM.

In Ringsaker municipality, between Hamar and Lillehammer, 1 hour and 30 minutes north of Oslo. The Climbing Cabin is located near the Climbing Park on Helgøya.

You can order both dinner and breakfast. The food will be placed in the cabin before your arrival, and you can easily heat up the dinner yourself.

Yes, in all cabins except the Viewnest. It is important that the dogs stay on the floor and not on the sofas and beds. Note: Bring a dog waste bag.

This also depends on when you think nature is at its most beautiful and what activities you want to do during your stay (sleigh rides, horseback riding, dog sledding, skiing, cycling, berry picking, paddling, swimming, black grouse lek). The treehouse cabins each have their own charm, and it's hard for us to say which cabin will suit you best. The cabins range from 12-17 square meters in floor area, so none of them will feel too large for two people! The Pine Cabin is the smallest and least comfortable, while the Birch Cabin has the most spacious interior and outdoor veranda. Here is some information that might help you make a choice.All treehouse cabins, except the Pine Cabin, have hot and cold running water in taps and showers. They have compost toilets inside the cabin in addition to outhouses on the ground level, as well as electricity. The Pine Cabin is simpler and smaller—intimate and cozy, perfect for 2-4 people but can accommodate up to 6 people. The Pine Cabin only has an outhouse. It relies on guests to handle cleaning themselves—meaning there is no daily upkeep unless cleaning is ordered. Therefore, you may sometimes find the cabin as the previous guest left it.If you want to see black grouse leks, choose Pine, Birch, or Spruce Cabin in April or the first half of May. Canoeing is possible at Spruce, Larch, Birch, and Sky Cabins. Fishing opportunities are available at Larch and Sky Cabins.There are great ski trails around Spruce and Birch Cabins. There is also a ski trail at Larch Cabin, but it is maintained less frequently. At the Pine Cabin, you need to make your own tracks in the beautiful wilderness. If you drive 10-15 minutes from Pine towards Ljøsheim, you will find well-prepared ski trails.Dog sledding is available outside Spruce and Birch Cabins. Guests at Sky Cabin need to drive about 1.5 km for dog sledding, Larch Cabin about 7 km. Even further for Pine and Climbing Cabins.Sky Cabin has panoramic views and is built with skylights in the spacious sleeping loft, as well as a veranda around the entire cabin. It has received much attention after the program "Sky Cabin" with Dorthe Skappel. Birch, Climbing, and Spruce Cabins also have skylights.Larch Cabin has the best outdoor area on the ground level and the most play space for children. If you have small children, the recommended priority order is Spruce, Birch, Larch, and Climbing Cabins. Spruce Cabin is the only treehouse cabin with a ramp instead of stairs, making it suitable for strollers/wheelchairs/mobility-impaired guests.If you suffer from a fear of heights, the recommended priority order is Spruce, Birch, or Climbing Cabins. Treehouse cabins can help cure a fear of heights!The Climbing Cabin is on the edge of the Climbing Park at Helgøya, with views of Lake Mjøsa. There are great hiking and cycling opportunities. "Skafferiet" is a few minutes away by car, and Hoel Farm and Kvarstad Farm are worth a visit. Contact "Infoteket" at Tingnes to book activities such as bicycles and kayaks, or contact Helgøya Climbing Park if you want to climb. As a guest in the treehouse cabins, you get a 10% discount at the Climbing Park.If you are traveling with a group and need more than one cabin, we recommend Spruce and Birch Cabins. These are about 200 meters apart. Additionally, we have a lavvu that is a short walk from these cabins.

Free trout fishing is available for all guests at the Sky Hut and in a small pond near the Larch hut. All guests under 18 fish for free in all ponds. For information on fishing and hunting in the area, visit www.rjfo.no.

Drinking water, indoor shoes, flashlight/headlamp, powerbank to charge mobile, bed sheets/sleeping bag (duvets/pillows are provided in the cabin), optional charcoal for grilling (you can also use only wood), food, and drinks. There is limited space in the treehouse cabins, so please do not bring too much. Information will be sent to guests after booking.

There is a electric coffee maker in the Viewnest and the Climbing hut. The other treehouse cabins have a French press. Many guests choose to bring instant coffee.

For cancellations more than 30 days before arrival, a full refund is provided minus a booking fee of NOK 390. For cancellations between 30 and 15 days before arrival, a 50% refund is provided. Cancellations less than 15 days before arrival receive no refund. Changing the stay to another date more than 30 days before arrival is free of charge. If you need to cancel due to illness, we recommend checking if your travel insurance covers this.

It is optional to order cleaning service or do the cleaning yourself. The cost is NOK 499. Cleaning can be booked at the time of booking or added later online through your profile. Dishwashing is not included, so everyone must do that themselves.

No, unfortunately! You either have to drive yourself, or take the train to Brumunddal. Price from Oslo cost from NOK 300, and about NOK 250 from Oslo Airport to Brumunddal. It is possible to take a taxi from Brumunddal train station, but we can often arrange transport. Price from NOK 400 per car (max 4 people). Send us an email if you plan to come by train.

There are usually squirrels at all the feeding spots near the huts. 

Yes, except at the Pine hut and the Climbing hut where there is no water right next to the cabin. Each canoe comes with two paddles and two life vests. It's recommended to bring your own life vest for smaller children. Kayaks can be rented through "Infoteket" at Tingnes if you stay at the Climbing hut.
