The Pine treetop lodge is built eight meters up from the ground in pine trees in the woods of Ringsaker municipality and is Norway`s first tree-top cottage approved for accommodation. In january 2010 the tree-top cottage in larch trees; the treetop hut Larch, will be ready to receive visitors.

In the treetop huts between Hamar and Lillehammer, you can sleep safely and comfortably, with a view over Norwegian forest wilderness and in close contact with nature, birds and animls. In the night, far away from traffic and people, experience the stillness of the night and the starry sky for yourself.

The treetop huts are located a few miles from each other and are easy to reach; never more than 200 meters on foot from parking space.

Price for accommodation in a tree-top hut is from NOK 990 per night and they are rented out all year. The huts are winter isolated and contain a small kitchen, fireplace and gas heating. The tree-top hut Larch har bio toilet and shower. From the tree-top hut Pine is a staircase with solid railings down to an old-fashioned outdoor toilet on the ground.

Visiting a tree top hut is a different, exciting and enriching way to experience nature. It combines the intimate and home welcoming with candles, reindeer leather and wood-burning stove and the freedom of living in treetops. Birds, woodpeckers and squirrels live in the branches surrounding the terrace, and it you are patient, birds will trusting eat sunflower seeds from your hand.
