This is the first treetophut. Built in 2005. Totally renovated and much improved in february 2012.

25 feet above the forrest floor, solidly anchored in two 250 year old Pines, entered up a robust wooden stairway with railings, the Pine hut. The way in involves only 150 meters of walking from the car park.
Equipped with gas oven, sink, a fridge and all you may require in the lines of pots and pans, glasses and cutlery. A cosy wooden stove gives a wood crackling soundtrack and a beautiful atmosphere along with many candles. The Pine hut is fully winter isolated and comfortably houses 6 people.
Two double beds an two single beds gives up to six people a great view of the surrounding wilderness and bird feeding on the porch. On the ground directly under the cabin is a big shed with a supply of wood and an out door toilet. There is also a simple bio toilet in a room up in the cabin, but this is mainly for children and nighttime emergencies.
Under rough Pine branches, a nice, big porch with wooden benches stretches out over the landscape. Here you sit on reindeer skin and enjoy the heat from the mid-porch fireplace, the superb view of the surrounding nature, and blackcocks playing on the marsh.
Also check out activities and experiences available when staying in the Pine hut.

A great number of birds and squirrels have trough the years learnt that there is food to be found in many places on and around the porch. This has also made them less and less shy of people, making it easy to get very close to these creatures. Also visiting daily is the woodpecker, and if you are lucky, a great moose might wander across the marsh in front of you.
Moving pictures from the cabin:
The Pine hut is the smallest and simplest of the three cabins, but it is perhaps the one where you get closest to the surrounding wilderness and the animals who live there. Please leave cabin the way you would like to find it. Remember to bring fresh water for drinking, sleeping bags or duvet and pillow cover. You are welcome to refill the bird feedings with birdseeds found in the cabin when you come and leave.
Prices for the Pine hut: Under no circumstances will you have share the cabin with others!
